OVERVIEW

We draw on our own expertise as headteachers and national leaders to provide personalised professional learning and development for middle and senior leaders as well as their teams. Our professional and personal backgrounds ensure that we are able to draw on an eclectic approach to leadership development. We are able to call on our school leadership network, speakers and researchers as keynote and conference speakers and workshop facilitators when needed.

We are able to advise governing boards on headship recruitment and appointment.

We have specific expertise in using feedback from a range of leadership diagnostics and analysis, including Hay leadership, 360 feedback and leadership behaviours analysis as part of our coaching for individuals and leadership teams.

FACILITATING TRAINING

We have been externally assessed and verified to deliver and facilitate training for existing leadership organisations including The Future Leaders Trust (TFLT), for which Carol is course leader for the Talented Leaders Programme, and ASCL Professional Development, for which we deliver a variety of leadership development programmes for both middle and senior leaders. In addition we are Associates for PiXL – Partners in Excellence.

Our facilitation of CPDL programmes is evaluated by our clients at consistently high levels.
Our own bespoke leadership development programmes, targeted at women school leaders aspiring into or new to headship will be launched in March 2017, shortly after the Leading Women to Headship National Summit, 2017.

DESIGNING CPDL and CONSULTANCY

We draw on the theory and practice of effective CPDL design for adult learners when designing bespoke CPDL programmes for any client or group. Although we may link clients to nationally recognised and accredited programmes we train beyond ‘off the shelf’ programmes, with each school leader’s needs accounted for when planning programmes.We offer consultancy for school and teaching school alliance CPDL coordinators and senior leadership teams in CPDL curriculum design. This links whole school CPDL programmes to each institutions /partnership’s institutional plan and performance development, thereby ensuring cohesion to school improvement.

COACHING

We coach individual school leaders and teams at every level, encouraging the development of elemental leadership behaviours as well as acquiring deep knowledge and skills for leadership and management. We work with school leaders to develop their leadership teams in order to build capacity and succession plan for the future. We specialise in coaching women into headship, during headship and beyond headship.

FINDING SOLUTIONS

We help find solutions for school leaders by drawing on our national network of experienced leaders.

Our national networks of experienced school leaders and professional /leadership associations enables us to find solutions to many challenges faced by our clients by connecting them across the network. All levels of expertise are generously offered by our collaborative members, whether for school leadership or management issues.
